A Musical Revolution

Our Worship Music has truly evolved since the start of these ministries. We have moved from hymnals to CD players, from portable stereo systems to Sing-Along songs, and finally to the production of our very own studio-quality music. This ads an exciting new dimension to the worship experience at C.O.H.S. because this is the only place where you will hear dynamic and inspiring new songs of every genre of worship.

The music begins each Sunday with the live performance of an absolutely heavenly and divinely awe-inspiring classical piece which is created, written, directed, orchestrated and performed by our multi-talented and gifted Youth Leader. The song is designed to bring all hearts and minds into focus on the great Divine Himself, our Great God and Savior.

Our Song of Welcome features contemporary remixed renditions ranging from well known songs to brand new creations. You won't want to miss the International Song which always features a live journey into the rich tapestry and history of sounds from around the globe. Our Song of Fellowship most always includes brand new songs written by the artist ATQ. From the bouncy, hip, reggae-inspired grooves featured on the beloved song "I Came Here," to the infectious ballads of "Oh Lord, We Worship You," these songs will leave you smiling as you greet the person next to you.

We are very blessed above all ministries to be honored each Sunday with a "Musical Rendition," which is performed by our very own Youth Leader. Our Youth Leader is given "complete freedom" to perform a song at her own discretion. This is because at C.O.H.S., we believe in empowering our youth to be free to worship as they choose. The "Musical Rendition," is always welcomed with great love, encouragement and applause.

Following our Inspirational Reading, we then bask in a great Song of Consecration such as the ATQ penned "None Like Him." We would be remiss to ignore songs of such caliber since they are designed to foster genuine contemplation and meditation prior to the Word of Reflection which is presented by our fellow brother and pastor. These songs often range from new to old, as we transition into the feast of the Word.

Our Moment of Decision gives everyone an opportunity to truly reflect on change and hope, as we sing the great songs and hymns of the altar together as a congregation. We believe that these are the songs which foster and encourage worship, fellowship, healing and change in lives.
